Percy is betrayed by the person he trusted most. Not what you expect, you'll see. Lost, he vanished without a trace. He returns a different man with a close relationship with the least likely goddess. No HOO...yet. What will happen when new threats rise. Will he fight? No percabeth whatsoever in this fic. (This was the second story I ever wrote... Like 2 years ago and it was written in about a month and half so bear that in mind. FYI, I'm not looking for critiques, I don't like the way I wrote it so I'm not looking to fix anything.)

When Percy Jackson joins the hunt, Artemis feels a spark she's never felt before. It isn't long before she pinpoints this feeling: the curse of Aphrodite. Having sworn maidenhood, Artemis is not allowed to have Percy Jackson. Pining over the now immortalized god, she wonders if she'll eternally feel so strung out over somebody. When Olympus goes to war (again) Zeus declares 2 powers be united: the god and goddess of the Hunt.

Any characters from the books are not mine, only the OCs I have listed. I saw a book with the ship Zoë x Artemis and I loved it so that will be in it too. Life and death lie close together. The smallest things can push people towards one or the other. But sometimes those things aren't that small. Percy Jackson has seen far too much in her short life.
