Kai has never liked the sea. Water is dangerous, you can drown in it! Yet for that same reason, no one would be looking for him at that secluded spot he'd found on the beach. He could finally cry in peace and be alone with his thoughts for a while, no need to pretend he was okay. Then a freckled weirdo had to appear and ruin his perfect plan! Or not...
