Yugi is a college student who just graduated from Medical school with the highest scores in class. He is accepted by a five star rated hospital in Domino, where he is assigned apprenticeship to Dr. Yami Sennen, who specializes in Head, neck, chest, and abdominal trauma, all 4 stages. He takes Yugi in and starts to work with him, getting him used to the atmosphere of almost never knowing when your patient could die on you or you could make any mistake at any time. But when one is hurt badly, can the other be left "In Safe Hands"?

After an attempt at his own life, seventeen-year-old Mutou Yuugi is sent away by his estranged mother, to live with his grandfather in dreary Domino City, Japan. Feeling hurt, lost, and betrayed, the depressed teen grows more problematic by the day. He seems ready to give up, when he makes a shocking discovery: He finds and is reunited with his long-lost twin brother, Heba, whom he had been separated from many years ago, after the divorce of their parents. Can Yuugi's sibling and newfound friends drag him out of the Darkness that ever-plagues his mind? Or will the demons surrounding his very BIRTH take their claim? (More Info Inside.)
