I asked, raising my eyebrows. "You signed the contract from hell, we are your faithful servents." The tall one nodded. "I didn't sign shit." I scoffed, starting to shut the door. "Actually, Miss Alyson, you did." The shorter one said as he shoved a paper into my hand as his foot stepped between the doorway. I grabbed the paper from his hands, frowning as my eyes glanced over it. It was my hand writing. I opened the door back up, scowling at the two. "May we come in, Miss Alyson?" The taller cocked his head, the smile still very intact. "No." I huffed as I slammed the door, quickly locking it.

Classic enemies to lovers romcom vibes. Not reinventing the wheel should be an easy read. The reader is a too-happy ghoul who has been given the position of cardinal.
