So Fionna has somehow managed to get zapped into a fairytale. Wait, no, scratch that, SEVERAL fairytales. She's not a character pawn, etc, she KNOWS who she is, how she got there, and HATES it. Not to mention, the Ice Queen screwed it up! Someone else is in there, (in and out, actually. Lucky...) and the fairytales seemed convinced that HE is her 'Prince Charming'!
