I've been reviewing stories on Wattpad for a while now and, boy, has that been a journey. Your stories have made me gasp and squeal. Your stories have made me laugh and cry. But, from time to time, your stories have made me cringe. In commemoration of my review store hitting 100 reviews, I thought it was about time to break down my reviewing journey, with the help of a fellow reviewer, @awesomeSTG. This book will contain chapters regarding the common errors I see in stories, it will offer tips on how to make your story professional, and there will also be some sneaky rants about what people expect from a reviewer. Welcome to 101 Writing Tips from an Exhausted Reviewer, featuring two very exhausted reviewers: @ray_of_sunshine9 and @awesomeSTG. Or, as perfectly said by @awesomeSTG: Ladies and gentlemen, folks far and wide! Sharpen your quills, prepare your scrolls, and polish your fire-resistant armours, for we shall finally cool off your burning queries - or scorch you even more - with our word of wisdom (namely rants) and advice! Hear ye, hear ye! And the incredible cover is done by the very talented @g_beckford - thank you so much!

A guide to types of reviews and especially how you may react to them. Ever wondered why you have so many reads but so little votes? Or have you ever thought about why you don't receive comments for your books and are wondering if those comments are genuine or not? Welcome, you've come to the right place! {I know. This introduction was cheesy as hell but please open the book or continue moving on;) } These are things people have talked about and things I've experienced and noticed among writers and reviewers. Some of what is here can answer your questions as to why you receive certain reviews. . . and this may be a rant book for some? Anyways, this contains some facts about reviewers and those who receive reviews (mostly bad or negative reviews)

Hi! And welcome to my Wattpad blog about writing! 💻📓✍️☕️📚🤓 If you're a writer, this book is for you! If you're a reader who wants to know more about the craft, job, and life of writing, this book is for you! Are you picking up a theme? Of course you are! I'm writing this book for the Wattpad community. But I'm also writing this book *with* the Wattpad community. What do I mean by that? Well, like the title says, I want you to ask me anything about writing. Plotter or pantser? Coffee or tea? Quiet workspace, or noisy cafe? Send your ❓ questions ❓ to my inbox, or just drop them in the comments. Or hit me up on Twitter. I'm @mestrin. You have questions, I have answers. That's the motto here at AMA About Writing. *Good answers not guaranteed. **Funny answers are a possibility. 💪👀
