Living nearly four hundred years apart, two brave young women born of the same soul face the harshest trials neither would have ever expected. Whether imprisoned by corrupt leaders or stranded after a severe storm, this island proves to be a test of strength. * Between the two stories, the past and the present collide and each helps fill in the blanks to the other as they learn more about themselves and their history. Things escalate fast as they learn to live in their new realities, and enemy's from the past find their way back into their lives, returning with the chaos of corruption and misguided ideals. She may have grown between lifetimes, but no matter how hard she tries, some things will always stay the same. * Sometimes in life, you lose everything familiar, only to be forced to change and become someone new. You can mourn the loss of everything you knew, but in the end, it is better to accept and face it as your new reality. Would you choose to lie down in fear of the unknown, or would you choose to Thrive?

Karina, Rachel, and the siblings Seven and Sophia are four travelers looking to answer one looming question. How is an island capable of making somebody go insane? Karina has been wondering about this for the last ten years ever since her mother committed suicide after visiting the island with her research team. Meeting the other survivors seems almost too good to be true so naturally, Karina befriends them with hopes that they will help her unfold the mysteries of the island. She finds herself on a journey of discovering herself and the truths of those who surround her, but will she find out the true answer to her question? The "truth" may not always be what it seems. The beginning of this story explores the tragedies that accompany each of our main characters and their journeys to the island before breaking into one singular point of view that will carry readers throughout the rest of its entirety. I would also like to note that this is an ongoing piece of work and will be updated weekly, if not twice a week. All constructive feedback is welcomed and encouraged as it will be used to further engage readers and get an idea of what everyone expects out of the story. I love hearing reader theories and how you expect everything to unfold, so feel free to share!
