It's only been a few years since monsters have been released from their underground prison. In some towns, monsters are welcomed with open arms. Others? Not so much. Y/N is a 22 year old girl that lives a pretty simple life. Sleep, eat, work, relax at her daily cafe, go home, sleep. Then the routine starts again. However, her routine is thrown off when she keeps running into a skeleton, supposedly named Sans. She would like to get to know him more herself, but there's one problem.. He doesn't talk. Monsters have returned to the surface, but that barely concerns you. Your only focus is to work and stay in control. Don't feel, don't lose control. The monsters have finally made it to the surface and have been legalized to roam the surface as they please. The first couple of months have been spent as a paradise where humans and monsters have lived in peace and happiness. But as we all know, humans tend to be afraid of what they don't understand and the appearance of the monsters only seemed to have fueled the rising tension. You are a member of one of the biggest clubs that support the monster's appearance, known as the FMC (For Monsters Corporation). There is a rival club, known as the DM (Destroy the Monsters) that only wants to exterminate the existence of the monsters, and with every passing day, conditions only seem to be getting worse. Determined, you try to make things right and equal for all beings, but things start to alter when you meet with a certain skeleton. Gaster is the current royal scientist, set with a mission to break the barrier and free monster-kind from their underground prison. His loyalty and persistence to the task is clear, since he'll make whatever sacrifice necessary to complete it. However, even a perfectionist can be blind to some of their own flaws. Gaster has a habit of pushing things or himself too far. An accident occurs in the lab. Whilst trying to save him; one of his lab assistants, Y/N, gets injured. Burdening himself with even more pressure and guilt to fix it, Gaster thinks that doing all of her work for her will cover up the incident. Still, the sad reality is that the damage can't be undone. Well, Gaster ends up spending more and more time with her. As a result, both of them gain an entirely new perspective of the other, they aren't just another monster in a lab coat anymore. Hey!
