Remembrance is a modern fantasy set in the most magical place on Earth, Northeast Ohio. Nearing the end of his senior year in high school, Malcolm Ridenger was comfortable with his life. He had good grades, a couple of good friends, and a loving family. He wasn't happy, but he was at least... fine. However, an unknown past and a brush with magic will jettison Malcolm into a new life as a ward of Life and Death themselves, and bring him into the world of The Seconds.
