Melanie has a hard try trying to accept this concept but if she wants to have light she must embrace the dark. Melanie went trough a traumatic experience when she was young, dark. But, something good comes out of it which is her friends, light. She meets a boy who she refuses to accept into her life that she is trying to make ordinary, dark. Will the result be light or dark when she gets to know this boy, or will it be a lot more complicated than colours.

There's suddenly an annoying and repetitive knocking at the door, interrupting my plan of lazy Sunday. Who would be knocking at the door this early in the morning? Must be the new neighbors. The knocking becomes louder and faster by the time I get to the door, and with an irritated look upon my face I yank open the door, though my anger seems to fade instantly as soon as my mind registers the bright red mop of hair that sat upon Gerard Way. My cheeks instantly become as bright as his glorious hair, as I embarrassingly stood there with my mouth agape in all his glory. Suddenly my idea of lazy pajama day wasn't very suiting.
