Mare struggles to find peace given what she has endured and fight to not only be a better Queen Norta needs but a better person. Maven finds out Mare is Queen and she is untouchable his desire to be with her intensifies. Cal gets married to Evangeline. I as writer hold this love story very dear to my heart. In this story Mare struggles with her feelings but eventually learns to be better.
