I remember my reincarnation. It was quiet and subtle. It was quick yet life changing. I'm not supposed to remember. Was it a mistake, a error, or a sign? I'm renewed. I should have NEW goals, right? I find myself replay memory after memory. When I can't make NEW memories of my own. A life meant for past lives rather than creating a NEW destiny. Or am I meant for something much more bigger? I find myself asking these questions, and never really finding an answer. Or finding someone.

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)

Update: This story has been discontinued. - I am terribly sorry. Your mother lied to you. She told you that you were unique, and that as a teenager you have a whole bunch of options you can choose from to determine who you want to be. She must have been high. Look, I'm going to tell you this honestly. Somewhere out there in this floating sphere of green and blue, there's a person who acts just like you. It's the combinations of different personalities - which eventually lead up to an actual human being - that makes us all unique. But it can't hurt to find out where your personality stems from, right? Wanna know who you are? I'll help you out. There are 36 students in my classroom. Which one are you?

I could feel myself being thrown around in the back of the van. My hands were bound tightly behind my back, so tightly that it was pointless to even try and free them. I was gagged with a stale tasting rag, and a dirty piece of cloth was wrapped around my head, acting as a blindfold. Welcome to the Lost.

The world has gone crazy--or has it? Rowyn would like to know. With brainwashing becoming the norm, imagination is a threat. Those with one are becoming delirious--and insane. After trying to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge, Rowyn is rushed away to a mental institution. There she figures it's all over. Hope comes in the form of a boy named Ember, who keeps her spark alive by telling her stories of a place where everything is free and safe. When Ember asks Rowyn to run away with him, will she accept? And what will happen when outside sources hear about this far-away place? It's a time for faith, courage, and yes, maybe a little imagination. Something so deadly in this era. - Credit to KodiRoss for this amazing summary.(:
