After losing both her parents at the age of 12, Luz runs away, going through a door that leads her to the boiling isles. She becomes homeless in the unknown world and ends up struggling to survive. Luz was transported from the Magic realm to the Human realm after protecting Eda from her execution. It's been four years and shes already graduated and so has everyone in Bonesborough. Luz has fallen into a deep depression since then, not wanting to let go of her past, the same going for Amity, but in a different way, she was able to cope with the help of friends whereas Luz had to cope by herself. One day however, Luz ends up in the Magic realm again, and that's where the story begins! (The inspiration for this story came from 'Music under the Spotlight' another Lumity fanfic that you should definitely check out!)

TRIGGER WARNING: Blood, Cursing, Self Harm, Drug Usage, Homophobia, Attempt of Suicide, slight Dark Humor, and Gore... this fan fic just gets worse and worse the more you read. It's dark. Given the fact the story takes place two years later, the characters are mostly portrayed in their beta forms, but still have a bit of their canon characters built in.
