He's lost his drive, buried in guilt over lives lost, things left unsaid, and especially the way he treated Deku. Midoriya, now the #1 hero, has grown colder, more distant-haunted by the weight of leadership. He tries to bring Bakugo back into the fold, insisting they work together for the first time in months. Forced proximity brings tension, resentment... and unspoken feelings to the surface. As they're assigned a mission to dismantle a villain faction hiding in the shadows, the danger reignites the bond between them-setting the stage for confessions, healing, and a passion neither of them expected.

Katsuki Bakugo is a hero on the verge of achieving everything he's ever dreamed of. Throwing himself in to his hero career right out of UA High, his life is nothing but patrols and battles as he continues to push himself towards his ultimate goal of becoming Japan's number one hero. It was all that mattered to the cocky, hot-headed hero - until he meets a villain who changes everything. Growing close with this villain, so different from anyone he's ever known, could mean the end of everything he's worked for. Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done. Katsuki Bakugou hates having so much homework. Isn't it enough to spend his entire day learning without having to do so much work after school? How is he supposed to reach the top spot in his class if his evenings are occupied with completing all these assignments and not improving his quirk? Enter Shouto Todoroki. Out of the kindness of his heart, Todoroki agrees to do Bakugou's homework assignments for him so he can work on becoming a stronger hero. But Todoroki has a condition of his own. In exchange for doing his homework, Todoroki wants Bakugou to become more in touch with his affectionate side. That includes hand holding, hugging, cuddling, and everything in between. Any display of affection Todoroki wants, Bakugou has to comply. Bakugou hates the idea, obviously, but he has no other choice.
