This is a slow burn. Wednesday Addams, a 16 year old girl, attends Nevermore after being expelled at her old high school. As the school year goes on, Wednesday has developed some sort of feelings for the popular girl, Enid. Will they find their way to each other? Or will Wednesday have her heart broken?

CC Walker wasn't the type to seek attention, but somehow, in Cairo Sweet's class, she had become the teacher's pet. It wasn't something she planned, it just happened. From the first day, Cairo had noticed her-how CC was always the first to dive into the discussions, how her insights into literature were sharp, yet thoughtful, never boastful. She didn't try to be the best, but her natural curiosity made her stand out. It started with Cairo's subtle praise-little compliments on her essays, a knowing smile when CC answered a question, and those moments when Cairo would pause the class just to listen to her opinion a little longer. CC didn't mind it at first. She loved literature, and Cairo's passion for teaching made the subject feel alive in a way no one else had before. But slowly, it became clear that Cairo had a special interest in her. CC found herself staying after class more often, helping Cairo organize materials, discussing books that weren't even part of the curriculum. Cairo would encourage her to push her boundaries, ask questions that challenged her thinking, and reward her with praise that, though rare, made CC feel like the star pupil. Her classmates noticed it too-how Cairo's eyes would always linger a little longer on CC, and how she was often the first to be called on for any task, big or small. At lunch, Cairo would sometimes stop by her table, offering casual conversation that felt almost personal. "What did you think of today's lesson?" she'd ask, genuinely interested in CC's opinion. It wasn't the usual "teacher-student" exchange; it felt more like two people who shared a real intellectual connection.

"I don't care what happened before, my rule is no touching, no hugs and no colors, can you handle that?" Wednesday asked. Enid frowned and turned around, before she could physically move from her spot, Wednesday stepped up. "Okay, fine. You can touch me" Enid's eyes widened at Wednesday's words as the psychic hadn't realized. She wanted to say something but she was so surprised by Wednesday's wording that she couldn't figure out the right words to form" Or WEDNESDAY (but a little twist + wenclair)

"I'm just your tutor CC, nothing more." "You really think that Cairo?" After the massacre that happened a few months back in Tennessee, Cairo decides to leave it in her past, and focus on a new path in college, where she becomes a straight A student. She felt too scarred to focus on anything else, and promised herself not to fall into love again. CC walker is a hardworking soccer player, who just recently got accepted into the US national soccer team, however, once she got into college, ever since then she had only been focused on soccer, and not her studies because she thinks that only soccer could get her somewhere in the future. Her teacher assigns her a tutor. every twice a week they would meet after school in the library to help improve CC's studies, but of course, there's interference. after a month, a killing spreads out onto the news, a killing that happened near their college. CC tries to best to not mind, but Cairo wants to dig deeper. She tries to dig deeper into the case, dragging CC along with her, there are bumps in the road, danger ahead, and romance, will they make it through? Let's hope. "I am fine, but I appreciate your concern. However, I was hoping you might accompany me to my family reunion over the school break at the manor?" Wednesday asked. "I'm flattered. But I feel like there's more to this request." Enid replied, eyebrows furrowing slightly. "Impressive. You've been picking things up from me. Yes, your intuition is correct. My motives for asking are not entirely pure. My family has been pestering me regarding a paramore, and I cannot suffer through another family reunion with inane questions regarding when I will find a partner. Therefore, I was hoping you'd assist me with a ruse by pretending to be my girlfriend." "G-girlfriend?!" Enid stuttered in disbelief. "Yes. Would that be something you'd be willing to assist me with?" Wednesday asked, cautiously hopeful she'd agree as Enid was the person she trusted the most to achieve this ruse successfully. ------------------------------------------------ Chapters come out every Wednesday

When unfortunate events take place, Cairo and Cc start to fake a relationship despite their dislike of each other. Quickly, the lines between what's real and what's fake start to blur. Neither one of them can tell if they're just friends anymore- or if they ever were just friends to begin with. OR Cairo's hand slowly wanders under the table until she met my hand, which lays on my upper thigh. Surprised, I look at her. Her eyes maintained on my family, but she gives me a small glance while smiling at me. "...why don't you try it? Have a little fun with it and see if you enjoy it?" She proceeds to lift the spoon closer to my mouth. "Go on.
