"What is your name?" I asked, staring into her doe-like eyes. Almost immediately her face twisted in horror. Her eyes switched back and forth frantically like an exit would suddenly appear out of thin air. The sides of her lips turned downward like it was taking everything in her not to burst into a sob. Sure, she was scared--that much was expected-- but I could see the anger. I could see she was furious with me. Interesting. I thought to myself.
