This story is inspired by the Turkish series Erkenci Kuş and its protagonists; I have taken some of the characters and their roles in the novel to create it, so it may bear some similarity to the plot we saw on screen. ______ Can and Sanem are two free souls whose paths cross by chance one random night, where, unsuspectingly, they will mark the beginning of a story they were not prepared for.

It is said that what is destined for you will find a way to reach you and this is how Can and Sanem, after a year of separation, meet by chance in an old cinema. Everything between them now seems over, they have given up believing there is a future together even though the other is always there, in that corner of the heart that only the love of life can occupy. Yet fate always finds a way to fulfil itself for two people who have experienced the most magical and romantic love story ever told.

* (A Turkish Series Translation) A young woman named Sanem Aydin lives with her overbearing but loving parents, who have certain ideas of how she should be living - and it doesn't involve her working at her family store full time. They thinks she should be more like her older sister, Leyla, who works for a very successful advertising agency and is an independent young lady... Forced to find a job or get married, Sanem jumps at the opportunity when a position becomes available at the very agency her sister works for. During her time working here, Sanem finds herself caught in some strange events and situations. She also gets stuck between the two brothers in charge of the agency - one seemingly good and one seemingly bad. Will Sanem make it out unscatched or will her heart as well as her job be put at risk?

After the whole birthday mess, Sanem and Can are trying to figure out how to not hurt each other all the time. Slightly AU - Can leaves the party before Sanem can talk to him. She never quits and he doesn't listen to the conversation between her and Ceycey.

Snippets of alternate outcomes in the lives and enduring love story of Can Divit and Sanem Aydin. When I started out with this story, I only intended to loosely base the 'short piece' on the events in Bolum (Episodes) 17 & 18 however, I got such positive feedback, I decided to stretch it out a bit. I'm still unsure how far I will stretch it but so far, I'm enjoying writing it and will keep going till I run out of steam. I can't think of any show/movie that I've watched in recent times to which I have reacted as I did when I watched Erkenci Kuş. The characters hooked their claws into me and wouldn't let go. I rooted for Sanem and Can; cried and laughed with them; railed at and cursed their detractors and finally rejoiced over their reunion. However, the ending was so rushed. After all the angst we were put through with their relationship, I felt robbed of an extended happily-ever-after. What we were given was too short. I hope to right that wrong, amongst others, with this story. Though I only watched the show in Jan/Feb 2023, I have since rewatched it countless times. There were certain parts of the plot which wound me up so much so this is me writing what I wished had happened. Enjoy!

All the problems that had plagued Can and Sanem all those years had forced them both to live their lives apart. Can left the agency, returning to his wandering ways trying to heal a broken heart. Sanem had given everything for Can and the agency, but now she was forced to live her life alone, to struggle with the decisions she had made..

This is a continuation of story Regret Part I. Sanem meets with an accident while escaping a painful situation at a party. The accident results in many ups and downs in the life of Sanem and Can. Does Sanem come back unscathed? Does she reconcile with Can? Does Can learn to trust Sanem whole heartedly?
