The year is 1989. There are many engines on Sodor, including Gordon, one of the biggest and proudest on the railway. However, he is incredibly pompous and rude as well. But how will he react to an old substance or entity from 149 years earlier coming back to take the island?

A new company makes a deal with Sir Topham to have his railway transport their tankers around the Island. However, Oliver quickly grows fed up with it, while Duck gets suspicious about what the tankers are carrying. It all comes to a head when a massive explosion occurs at the Harbor, causing the chemicals to leak all over the Western side of Sodor.
