"You thought you could threaten her? That you could hurt her, violate her the way that you did and walk away alive?" His voice was filled with raw fury, each word like a blow. "Please," the Sower gasped, his eyes darting to the ghastly charred remains of his men. "I- We didn't mean-" Thane didn't let him finish. With a surge of heat, the flames flared from his body, engulfing the man in a swirling inferno. The Sower screamed, his cries echoing through the clearing as the fire consumed him, but it didn't end his life-not yet. Thane controlled the flames, letting them torture rather than kill, a terrifying display of his power and restraint. "Didn't mean to?" Thane echoed mockingly, leaning down so his face was inches from the Sower. His eyes burned with rage, dark and unrelenting. "You meant every word, every threat, every action. And now you'll burn for it." ******************** In a world torn by war, where men and women are divided into separate kingdoms, Fern, a healer and herbalist, sets out to end the decade-long conflict. Her quest leads her toward the men's kingdom, but an unexpected encounter with an injured man changes everything. Little does she know that the man is the undefeated Ghost of the Battlefield. He was notorious and feared for slaughtering female warriors. Despite the hatred in his eyes, Fern makes the decision to heal him, forging a bond that neither expected. As their worlds collide, they must face the scars of their past. Can a single act of kindness heal old wounds, or will the weight of their history destroy them both?

I pulled the covers off my legs and tried to stand up. My attempt of standing up failed. But I tried again. I was so dizzy I fell against the nightstand, successfully catching Dante's attention. - Go back to sleep pet. He sternly stated. - I don't want to sleep with you watching me. - Can't you see I'm not even paying attention to you. He said not even making eye contact. - I don't care your mere presence is still annoying. I tried to stand again and I was finally able to stand on my feet. I looked up at the ceiling and whispered a thank you, for not embarrassing myself by falling down again. I made my way to the bathroom but my legs gave up on me half way through. I internally slapped myself and groaned. I fell down supporting my upper bodys weight with my shaking hands. I heard him sigh and saw him stand up. - Why can't you just listen to me once? He asked crouching down to my level. - I already told you why. He traced my lips with his thumb and held my chin up making me gaze into his dark eyes. - If you want to get up so badly, then you have ten minutes to shower and change. I want you outside all done. If you don't finish in 10 minutes, I'll drag you out of the shower and you'll be facing my father and the others naked. ~contains mature content Started: - Finished: 27/ 8/ 2021 Please do not copy, rewrite or re-upload!!! "A fantastical cross between the Beauty and the Beast and ACOTAR." A prince, a witch, and a wolf are tied together by the sins of their parents. Can they break free of the secrets that bind them, or will the Kingdom of Eidas forever be under a terrible curse? Dalia Leary, the eighteen-year-old daughter of an outcast Seer and a downtrodden merchant, lives in a city steeped in lore and magic, where the gods rule the seasons and the noble half-bloods rule the people. The kingdom of Eidas is down on its luck, facing mass starvation and economic failure from prolonged droughts. Dal's mother seems certain that there is a strange, simple solution to both their problems and those of Eidas'. Dal just has to marry the Prince of Eidas, Prince Tullvomm. Easy, right? Of course not. The Prince is nearly ten years her senior, and engaged to be married to the beautiful Princess of the East. She is nothing more besides a common girl from Bridgewater Avenue. Besides the obvious issues of his princess fiancée and her very un-noble birth, there's one other small little problem - Prince Tullvomm is never seen without his pitch-black wolf at his side - his beastly protector. The more Dal tries to get close to the Prince, the more the ghastly wolf seems to always get in the way. Dal realizes that to get access to the Prince she must either befriend the beast or slay him, and though part dog he may be, the beast doesn't seem the type to lie down and roll over. In fact, the more time Dal spends around the creature the less sure she is that he is a dog at all.

Melissa Crawford thinks she's just a regular teenage girl. She goes to school. She has friends, boy problems, homework...you know, the typical teenage angst. But she couldn't be more wrong, for Melissa Crawford is not a mortal. Her adoptive mortal mother refused to give her up and hired a witch to erase the enchanting Faery child's memory, not realizing that things aren't that simple. You see, when she was a little girl, Melissa promised herself forever to her Leannan Sidhe (mate), a Fae Prince, and a promise to Fae is sacred. When the Fae Prince comes back to claim what's his, nothing will get in his way. "Mortals are so arrogant. So utterly narcissistic to think that they are the only intelligence in this world, to believe their realm is the only realm, their way is the only way. "Many of you believe us fairies only exist in little kids' fairy tales. We are so much more than that. We exist, living in the Realm just a blink away from yours. A few wrong turns in the park or the forest and you're there. We sometimes walk among you, and you're not even aware of it. Believe me, we exist. Across the globe, your kind calls us and our realm by different names...but as William Shakespeare once said- a rose by any other name..."

The world had gone to hell long ago, taken over by the vampire race. In order to keep some sort of peace in our land, the Vampire Lords made a consecutive agreement. The rich and powerful humans could survive just as they had been, untouched by the vampires save for the occasional blood collections, or so they thought In reality, we were all under their control. Castles spread out throughout our land, one landing in each city. Each castle varied in the number of vampires residing there, but all of them carried a Lord. The Lords were the ones in charge in every city, whether we liked it or not. The vampires often roam through the city, making sure that everyone was in order and no one stepped out of line. If you stepped out of line, you died, end of story. Even if the rich were still under their control, their lives were still better than the poor. The poorest lives held a much worse fate. The men were to be put to work as slaves, whether that meant serving a specific vampire, or just building their castles, they were slaves. The women were to be pets. Pets were the lowest rank you could have. They were forced into cages that were too small to stand in with collars around their necks. They spent their lives in pet shops, just waiting for the dreadful day that they'll be bought. They were treated like animals, trained into what their master wanted, and punished if they misbehaved. Those who were lucky enough to live through that, we're to be slaughtered for their blood at age twenty-five in an act to make sure that our population would stay steady. I was born into this world. Born into this world full of blood-sucking monsters. Except, I was one of the lucky ones. Was. It all ended for me when I was 12, when I was taken away from the last bit of hope and family that I had left. Ever since then, I've lived in a cage, just rotting away, waiting, dreading for the day that some monster would make me his. This is my life. I am a pet. ~~~ Cover by: @mshacake
