As they walked away, Stiles heard Allison call out to them once more. "Add more of that preening in, Mr. Gajos. It's adorable." Stiles grinned, his cheeks flushing bright red, and resolutely ignored his daughter's smug face as they drove home.

He pressed the palms of his hands against the tiles, resting his head against the wall and letting the scalding water remove the tension from his body. He couldn't bear a repeat of Sasha, but should he tell Posy now or wait and- The bathroom door opened, footsteps echoing as they came closer and then stopped just outside the shower. He glanced towards the glass to see Persephone watching him with an expression of concern. Her eyes were dark, and she looked even more like something other than she had earlier in the evening.

Cora Hale had never intended to return to Beacon Hills after she, Laura and Derek left. In fact, she had promised herself she never would return for any reason. Then she got a call from Genim, her best friend and there she was, returning to Beacon Hills.

He nuzzled against Peter who smiled softly at him, continuing to run his fingers through Stiles's hair. Stiles liked that a lot and his head felt even more fuzzy in the best way. He had never felt that safe and protected.

It takes weeks to mend her heart enough to fully function. Betrayal like that doesn't just go away. It's like an ache in her chest that makes it hard to breathe.
