After returning from their failed mission Y,N, Raiden, Liu Kang, Sonya Blade, and Johnny Cage were the only defends left standing(A.K.A. still alive) and when Shao Kahn had arrived Sonya and Johnny were knocked out and thrown to the side easily and Raiden had accidently killed Liu Kang in order for Shao Kahn "to win". All that remained was Y,N and Raiden against the mighty Outworld Conqueror and Y,N knew something Raiden did not, he knew one of them would have to lay down their life in order for the other to defeat Shao Kahn. Y,N valiantly fought the Kahn, giving Kahn the best fight he had in centuries, however just like the others before him Y,N was killed and *insert storymode MK9 ending here*. However Y,N's soul wasn't collected by Quan Chi, as Y,N had a higher calling, one even he didn't know. Now he's been given new life and a new mission, and now faithfully serves Cetrion and Kronika.
