Newt, one of Thomas' fellow gladers and has become one of his best friends, is infected with a deadly virus that turns innocent people into bloodthirsty monsters. Well, what if Newt lived and made it to the safe haven?

Minho and Thomas are the best of friends, and they live conveniently close to each other. They hang out with a small circle of friends, which has always been the case. However, recently, Minho has been subtly mentioning a friend of his from Bristol, England named Newt. According to the idea, he was supposed to come in a few months as an exchange student and stay in Minho's house for the entire duration. Thomas was fine with it, as he was a considerably friendly person and trusted that two months would be easy to manage. What could possibly go wrong?
