Jay was planning on proposing to Nya soon. But those plans all go downhill when Nya gets captured and taken to a new realm: the lightning realm. But the enemy wont be giving her up that easily. The tactics and fighting the enemy uses aren't like anything the ninjas have seen before. Can the ninja find the realm and save Nya or will they suffer a harsh defeat and never see her again? **I do not own Ninjago, just the plot.

Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers.
