Some promises are made in silence. Some are made in laughter. And some-are made without the people who will one day be bound by them. Fourteen years ago, under a bright afternoon sky and the shade of old trees in a quiet park, two women laughed as they tossed coins into a wishing well. Best friends since college. Mothers bound not by blood, but by years of shared dreams, tears, and secrets. They wished for family. They wished for closeness. They wished-half-joking, half-serious-that their children would one day belong to each other. They never imagined that the wish would follow their sons like a shadow. Yin Wong grew up loud, fast, and full of sunlight. War Wanarat grew up quiet, careful, and tucked behind books. They were never meant to be the same. Yet fate-written in ink, sealed in a will, and whispered in a promise-had already decided that one day, they would stand side by side... whether they wanted to or not.

Rain poured outside the lawyer's office. War stared at the paper in front of him. MARRIAGE CONTRACT His fingers trembled. "Is this some kind of joke?" he asked quietly. Across the table sat Yin - calm, unreadable, and terrifyingly composed. "No," Yin said simply. "It's a business arrangement." War swallowed. "You'll pay all my debts... if I marry you?" Yin nodded. "One year." War looked at him carefully. "Why me?" For the first time, Yin's lips curved into something dangerous. "Because," he said softly, "you owe me your life." War frowned. "We've never even met." Yin leaned back in his chair. His dark eyes slowly locked onto War's. "Oh," he murmured. "We have." War's heart suddenly skipped. Because something in Yin's gaze felt like... this was never just a contract.

A marriage that started on paper... A love that was never meant to happen. War never expected anything from the arrangement- just a name, a duty, and a quiet life while he figured things out. Yin, on the other hand, had everything- status, control, and a life too busy to make room for anything real. They lived under the same roof... worked in the same company... yet chose to act like strangers. No feelings. No attachments. No complications. That was the rule. But rules have a way of breaking- especially when silence turns into comfort, distance turns into longing, and stolen glances start to mean something more. What happens when "just for show" becomes real? When care becomes habit... When presence becomes need... And when the person you promised not to love becomes the only one you can't lose? In a world full of secrets, power, and expectations- can a love that started hidden... finally be seen? Or will it remain... hidden in plain sight?

•On Going• | 𝗬𝗶𝗻𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗔𝗨 In the office, Yin and War are infamous for how openly they despise each other. Coworkers avoid pairing them up, certain it's only a matter of time before things explode. After work, both escape into Echelon, a revolutionary neural-chip game where the world feels as real as life itself and players live behind carefully designed identities. Inside the game, Yin becomes Jack while War becomes Jessie. As Jack and Jessie, they meet as strangers, grow into partners and fall in love through battles fought together and touches that linger long after logging out. Neither knows the other's real identity. By day, Yin and War can barely stand each other. By night, Jack and Jessie are inseparable. When the game and reality begin to collide, they must face one impossible question. Can love survive when the person you love is the one you were never meant to love at all? 📍𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤🔞 ⛔️𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲, 𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐢𝐭.
