(This takes place after the events of LBD's takeover and completely disregards the existence of s4, as it was not entirely out yet as of the creation of this book) Mk is hanging out at Pigsy's noodles when he gets a bad headache. He decided to go to sleep and wakes up as a monkey! How will he be able to explain this to all of his friends? For this fate, while wonderful, has one downside that could change the course of MK's life forever.

When MK goes to retrieve the staff from the Demon Bull King, he doesn't quite make it. The energy that the Demon Bull King absorbed along with the powers of the Monkey King that now reside in MK is too much for a human to handle at once. When MK emerges from the stone egg he is not quite human anymore, but not a demon yet either.

MK was orphaned at a young age. He doesn't know why he's never felt normal, doesn't know why he's never fit in and he certainly doesn't know that his actual parents are Sun Wukong and Macaque. This is MK's journey through life, trying to figure out who he is, where he came from, and why his balance sucks. (Most of this is set at the beginning of the actual show except the first two chapters which are before. This is just an excuse to write my two favourite Monkey's being dad's to Mk basically. Lot's of miscommunication is about to occur.)
