When Olivia Parker is found dead at a high school party gone wrong, it seems obvious who her killer was. Wesley Owens was found next to her covered in blood. Obviously, he did it. The question was why. With the entire senior class attending the end of the year bash, it shouldn't have been that simple to get away with the crime. There had to be witnesses and alibis, especially in the tight-knit friend group found at the scene. Now, with the eyes of everyone on them, the group has to pick up their broken pieces and figure out what actually happened that night before one of them gets falsely accused. With each step closer to the truth, the friends start to get more and more hesitant to reveal the truth and start to realize no one seems to be innocent. (Featured on Wattpad Picks twice!) [Merry Sister Mary Series Book 3] Sister Mary has made a name for herself in her current home of New Orleans, Louisiana. Renowned for her gift of glee and green thumb for trouble, this foolhardy nun knows no boundaries if it means making the world a better place. Yet with success often comes greater challenges and bigger enemies. The orphanages of New Orleans have been dismantled and the displaced children of a certain misbehaved bunch claim one last chance to redeem themselves before entering the new foster care system. Tasked to be an example of good morals, Sister Mary's dislike for children and rambunctious nature proves to be a challenge, but in a distracting twist, all that is about to change. Upon receiving an invite to a Shakespearian play, an audience member is murdered on stage. To everyone's surprise when the body goes missing and the same man is murdered again, a fear that someone is raising the dead ignites the city in a frenzy of voodoo magic. It becomes Sister Mary's job to see beyond the superstition and uncover a wicked web of secrets. Yet no web is complete without a spider, and spiders do not take kindly to funny nuns.

A perfect town is hiding ugly secrets. One dead body. One missing person. And a killer who is only just getting started... Blaire Olsen is the girl everybody wants to be. With her long and shiny beach-blonde hair, mesmerising blue eyes, and a to-die-for figure, she is the natural star of Berewood High. She was untouchable, a golden bullet soaring through our school and striking down anyone who stood in her way. Everybody either wanted to be her, know her, or kill her. But then someone actually did. And now, nobody wants to be her. I don't know why she went into the woods that night - all I know is that one second, she was there, alive and breathing, and the next she was not. The coroner's office say it was an accident, that she was drunk and fell over on some branch, knocking her head too hard on the way down. It was an accident. It was an accident. It was an accident. But, I've found her diary. It wasn't an accident. ******* Cover by Ellie Sita

🏆Wattys 2019 Winner for Mystery & Thriller🏆 Sister Mary has lost her way, or so people think. Kicked out of her convent and sent away to be reformed, this jolly nun discovers her gift of glee is perfect for solving murders and the occasional naughty peek. ________________________________________ Merry Sister Mary is the world's most happy-go-lucky nun, and where the nuns are concerned, possibly the worst. She has none of the qualities reserved for a traditional lady of the cloth: a fear of water, an odd relationship with an umbrella, and no talent in teaching or nursing, yet Sister Mary believes she has a special God given power, laughter. Such a belief has led her to be kicked out of her convent in Chicago for accidentally flashing a group of churchgoers and deemed in desperate need of reform. She is sent on a bus to a stricter convent in New Orleans, Louisiana, but in a drama fueled twist, God has different plans for the joyous nun. She is to solve a murder. After missing the bus Sister Mary is forced to seek refuge with a Catholic family in the small town of St. Francisville. A horrific murder occurs sending the town into a frenzy of bittersweet joy. The person killed has long been despised and so named the Stanton Witch for the mystery surrounding her husband's death and the decades of misfortune since her arrival. In an effort to expose the truth, Sister Mary finds herself in the middle of one family's terrible and insidious secret. As the bodies pile up she uses her gift of glee to uncover the clues missed by the police and hopefully stop the killer from claiming another innocent victim. Her goal-- prove to the world once and for all that one does not need to be traditional to make a difference.
