An orphaned ranger hailing from Imladris, Varilerin had always sensed an impending doom in her life. After she failed to protect her dearest friend, she exiled herself and travelled across Middle Earth to protect the innocent under the name Daefaroth, the Shadow Hunter. But the days grew dark in Middle Earth, with Sauron's forces remerging from their slumber. Varilerin was forced to step out of her fear and join the Fellowship to destroy the Ring. Yet, as she had repeatedly learnt, her journey would end not as planned, and being loved was not what she had expected A story of love, courage, and hope.

It was very rare for The Council of the Night to intervene with the affairs of those of Middle Earth. Last time they did so was when a war of immense proportions was foretold, so they had sent their Wanderer out to the root of the cause. And now, with the ever-increasing threat of a powerful evil just on the horizon, they send their Wanderer on a quest of great dangers and uncertainty. With the all-knowing Council always in thought their Wanderer embarked back to a land they have known all their life, going back to old acquaintances and friends. The Council can foretell of the threats ahead, knowing how every situation will play out, and the new and old bonds about to bloom for their Wandering friend. A year before the time The Hobbit is supposed to take place, Elven-King Thranduil and his son Legolas as well as companions from Mirkwood come to Lothlóthrien. During their stay there, Thranduil and Legolas meet the youngest daughter of Lord Elrond, Celebwen. She was the last child Elrond and his wife had before she left for the Undying Lands. Celebwen, who looks more like Galadriel than her own mother, quickly wins the heart of the Elven prince, but many years pass before he meets her again in Rivendell. By this time, Celebwen has become an expert at spying many of their enemies as well as looking after the safety of friends and brings her information to her father who circles the news to other Elven Kingdoms. After the Fellowship leaves Rivendell, Celebwen travels with them to bring news to Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. Owing to Gandalf's unseen death, Galadriel decides to send Celebwen along with the Fellowship, completing the nine members once more. But with the Breaking of the Fellowship and it's members scattered, Celebwen tries her uttermost to bring them back together again. And so the hopes and dreams of some of the members become second-place as the more important need of destroying the Ring takes center focus. Only time will tell what happens next. Enjoy!
