His new job at NYPD SVU, put him in touch with his nuturing side, especially toward women that had been abused. He could never understand how someone could harm their own mate, when all he had ever dreamed about was finding his. Rey a hopeless romantic, hoped that she had a True Mate out there somewhere waiting for her. She dreamed of the day when they would meet "just knowing" they were made for each other, the blue sparks that would appear on their skin as they touched confirming that knowledge. Until then, she would resist any other males. It was something that was becoming more and more difficult, due to her rare Omega genes. Could Rey remain unclaimed long enough to find her True Mate?

Rey lives on Jakku with her father Maurice. Far away on a forgotten planet lives a man whose face is covered by a mask, living in damnation with his staff. In exchange for her father Rey decides to go in his place and live with this man, Kylo Ren, for the rest of her life. Rey only knows how to survive, Kylo only knows how to live the best of his life-from before the curse. But Rey knows how to love, which Kylo forgot, just like Rey forgot how to live. Maybe they can teach each other things they forgot a long time ago. Sometimes love can be stronger than hatred and differences. But can it survive? Reylo Beauty and the Beast AU. The orphan Rey escaped her Northman captors only to run headlong into a mysterious creature in the forest. But why does his touch feel like home? Everyone Rey has loved is gone... Her parents... Her Aunt... Poe. She's used to everyone dying now, but when a persistent Ben Solo comes into her life, things begin to look up and she's afraid to be happy and risk loosing him... just like everyone else.

Then Rey felt herself fall into a deep, un-peaceful, and dark sleep. Kylo Ren slowly glided away from her unconscious form. A tear, although invisible from the rest of the universe underneath his mask, fell down his cheek. Kylo Ren left the scene of the massacre, where he had just murdered dozens of former fellow Jedi padawans, at the academy his uncle had established. He didn't look back, for he knew that if he did, he would totally break...he would be torn apart. Please note that this story STARTS in the time while Kylo Ren/Ben is at the Jedi Academy and that this story was written directly after The Force Awakens! With Kylo Ren's darkness encasing her like a safeguard -a dark swirling mass of power with the density of deep space- Rey's bright gold Force-essence exploded to life with the radiant illumination of solar flares and stars. Luke's face shot back to his groaning nephew. Kylo's Force aura had visibly changed too. He was still enveloped by thick blanketing shadows, but they seemed well under his control now. They ebbed and wove around him, moving with him, rather than against him. Luke blinked in disbelief but It was unmistakable; Within Kylo Ren's dark aura of swirling shadows were sparks and flakes of Rey's golden light and together they spiraled as one thriving solar system of both the light and dark. Rey recovered first and she half dragged herself to Ren. Unsure of what would happen next, Luke stood stead fast in his curiosity as the girl stumbled to her knees before his nephew who was still cradling his head between his forearms, his screams only just dying down to muffled whimpers. She reached out towards the Dark sider, her hand hesitating nervously within the space between them. -Her fingers twitching, her lungs tight, and then, she shakily placed it on his trembling arm. Instantly he stilled under her touch, his body calming in response to her contact. The Force between where skin met skin, visibly glowed. It wasn't just darkness. Nor just light. It was something new. Something born between the two. As if lightning had struck Luke where he stood, enlightenment filled the old Jedi's eyes and the passage he'd forgotten so long ago, came back to him all at once; "First comes the day Then comes the night. After the darkness Shines through the light. ❝He didn't say anything, just stared. A malicious glint came to his eyes. "Rey, I did not think you could be this foolish. I am years older than you, physically and mentally. How could I ever fall for a Jedi? I am stronger that that." This was what he reiterated in his head every day, every second he thought about her. But she was right indeed. He did like her. It seemed like an understatement almost. He needed her. Every second that Rey wasn't with him felt like torture. He couldn't let her know that. He also desperately clung to the darkness. His darkness was what fueled him and what kept him going. He couldn't possibly give that up. The girl was a conundrum. "Liar," Rey whispered. She crossed the distance between them. Now, they were only a few inches apart, separated by the bars of the cell. "You're right," he smiled. Yet again, it didn't reach his eyes. Rey was right. He could barely stand to be someone he wasn't. But his past called for him. "I am a liar. A manipulative beast." He reached out and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "You would do well to stay away." She stepped back. She had felt a jolt of something when he touched her. Like she was being set on fire, but she loved it. "St- Stay away from me," she stuttered.
