Aaliyah Johnson is in her final year at Magnolia State University, where she's balancing a scholarship, an art degree, and the pressure of not knowing what comes next. Elias Carter, the university's baseball captain, seems to have everything figured out, except his own heart. When mutual friends and a poetry club bring them together, sparks ignite in the most unexpected ways. She's brilliant and blunt; he's disciplined and mysterious. But between classes, practices, and the expectations of everyone around them, connection becomes the one thing they can't plan for. From strangers to friends to something far deeper, their story grows with every season, rooted beneath a magnolia tree that sees it all. Autumn brings sparks: "I'm curious about you, but I don't even know why yet." Winter, closeness: "You calm me when I didn't realise I needed calming." Spring, love: "I've known for a while... I just didn't want to ruin it." Summer, uncertainty: "Even if everything changes, you've changed me already." AVAILABLE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED 5th June 2024 All it took was one sinful night for Xavier Cross to fall for Honey Hartley. He was finally ready to put his playboy ways behind him only for her to leave before he had the chance. Now one year later his only goal is to bring back the woman who brought him down to his knees - quite literally. And once he does find her, he won't be letting her go anytime soon. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Honey squints at me through her long lashes, my eyes dropping to her heavy breasts that heave with every breath she takes. I smirk and trap my bottom lip between my teeth. "You know why I'm looking at you like this, Honey, don't be so naive now because you and I know you're anything but. You might put on this whole innocent act when you're out in public but we both know how dirty you are when you're in between my bedsheets." I gradually close the space between us until I'm staring down at her with a lazy smile on my face. "We're not good for each other, Xavier. Whatever this is between us, isn't possible." My girl whispers shakily and that has me chuckling darkly. I grab a hold of her wrist and lift her left hand in the air. Her pretty eyes follow what I'm looking at, and they widen. "The ring on your finger says otherwise, baby," I say before planting a kiss on the expensive diamond. "Now be my good girl and get on your knees."
