The average person is led to believe college junior, Billie O'Connell lacks commitment, manners and even morals in some cases. The 21 year-old frequently tends to spend her time at parties, doing drugs of limited kind, or participating in hook-up culture. Her character is challenged one Monday morning at a cross walk, when a cane hits her leg. That cane just so happened to belong to Julia Morales, a younger woman currently learning to cope with losing her vision. Hesitant at first, Billie opens her heart and joins Julia in her journey. She often questioned whether or not her actions were fueled by an honorable sense of selflessness or its much more complicated counterpart- selfishness.
