Of all these things that have made me the Marlena I am today, I have become an influence in so many's lives and I do my best to steer people onto the right path. I endured being a criminal's daughter and surviving, literally with my sanity intact when most would have lost their minds. I have survived through being abused by so many. It wasn't an easy life for me, it was very hard growing up with a dad that was considered a small town mafia type. The things I seen would shock you. I hear all the time, "how crazy it is that I did something with my life and that I'm not insane or in jail, is a miracle". Of everything I went through, the things I seen and endured haven't stopped me from being a good person and giving back. I never gave up, even though so many times no one would've blamed me if I did. My motto, "Don't let the product of your upbringing or your family decide your future. You can be anything you want to be with hard work, lots of prayers and faith in God, to get you through it all unscathed".

He pulled her to him and kissed her with so much longing that when he looked at her, she was blushing, shaken and out of breath, and smiling and for a moment he saw her eyes glow. The thought of finding that one person who completes you, to share a innocent kiss that's so powerful that you breathe each other's air, well it is just electrifying. He pushed her against the cold brick wall of the alley, ravaged by his uncontrollable desire. The wall felt like our bodies burned through it and melted together. This woman amazed and intrigued him and she had a smile that lit up his heart and when she walked into the room, people stared in awe. His mother told him the gossip about what she heard about her life. She was divorced, and had 3 children and some baggage but everyone had baggage, and he knew he had a lot too. He too was divorced and had a couple of daughters so the thought of finding someone loving and beautiful and would be a good wife and mother for his girls, it was just a hope he had. He never thought it was possible until now. But he had to have her, wanted to make her his and his alone and wanted to see her smile again.
