Artemis's night, which she'd intended to spend getting wasted, is interrupted by a girl she never saw coming: Kelanii. The two hit it off immediately and spend more and more time together as they grow closer. Artemis is making attachments she can't spare and Kelanii is getting too close to the truth she worked so hard to hide. When Kelanii shows up frantic and in tears at Artemis's "work" because her sister has been kidnapped and discovers Artemis is not just a barista... shit hits the fan, to say the least. Kelanii needs help that only Artemis can offer, but her line of work is a dangerous one. How far is she willing to go for a girl she just met weeks ago? How much risk is she willing to put herself and her people into for her? What will the consequences be if she doesn't help? Could they be even worse if she does? DISCLAIMER: This story is completely fictional but is loosely based off of the authors' relationship (the characters and personalities coincide with ours). The story also contains the following: Blood Death Violence Drugs and drug abuse Abuse Human Trafficking GxG Smut BDSM SubxDom Kidnapping Mafia Elements Mental Health Issues If any of these things are triggering for you, we advise either closing out now or proceeding with caution. We do intend to tag chapters that contain smut and violence/death, but there's a good chance we will not remember to, so be wary. Thank you from your neighborhood gays and enjoy! PS: Please leave comments on what you think! We'd love the feedback! However, if you don't have anything nice to say, "do as your mama says and don't say anything at all" (thank Myah for that contribution). No one is forcing you to read this. Much love! Also, check out our individual accounts for some of our own writings at @kennussy and @taeism_taeism ! Also, updates will not be very frequent as we both have busy schedules. Eventually we will have more time to write. For now, we are writing whenever we get the chance.
