"Local band seeks secondary guitarist. Must be loud. Must not suck." You show up out of curiosity. Good news: you're in. Bad news: the drummer, Kim Pine, is an asshole. She glares when you talk, rolls her eyes when you play, and acts like your existence is a personal inconvenience. Maybe it's the music. Maybe it's her. Whatever it is, it makes you keep showing up.
