Samuel, has been brutally injured and can barely move. It's as if time has stopped, that's when he sees a girl in tattered clothing, flying away with an object that has a certain...magical glow to it. After his injury his life tumbles into disarray beginning with his meeting with a mysterious, almost alien like girl. Aoife is dealing with bodily problems... and has gained an upper 'hand' or rather gained a 'wing' and is being chased by the world's best hunter, along the way she discovers things about herself she hadn't known before and realizes that the world's only purpose is to hurt her.
