Blinded by anger and hatred after learning of his mother's past, he slipped and allowed Laurel to forcefully make him do her bidding. He was ordered to stay close to Wednesday, to be an ally and a friend, but as days pass, those feelings of friendship turn into something more towards her. However, a pet cannot disobey its master's orders in fear of punishment so despite his growing feelings, he betrays her.
