nico's a demon, will's an angel, and they fall in love during a war. what could possibly go wrong? intentional lowercase for the description; the actual fic has proper capitalization. the writing is pretty bad and the plot is all over the place but it's cutesy sometimes so knock yourselves out. if swearing bothers you, skip the author's notes because i swear sometimes. the actual fic has no strong language.

Will is prince of the Aureole kingdom, a place of light-benders that boasts the best of healers. Nico is an assassin who serves the Shade kingdom, a place of shadow-benders with the most skilled fighters. And when their paths cross, their lives will change forever. Starvation. Cannabilism. This place is for the people who have ever killed. But some innocent people live there, too. This is a story of two men, one anxious for a way out of his dull life in a paradise, and another wanting to run to safety, and out of the place of danger, and these two men somehow meet in the middle. Nico di Angelo gets adopted by Bruce Wayne after Batman witnesses him stalking around a cemetery in Gotham in the middle of the night. He doesn't want to move in with Bruce, but seeing as he can't supply any proof of his parents or even his own birth records, he doesn't have a good reason to say no. It's Bruce Wayne or the foster system so Nico decides to take his chances with the billionaire. What he didn't anticipate is that he isn't Bruce's only child, or that the man is more than meets the eye. Nico gets dragged into the Batfam and has to learn their secret while trying to hide the mythological world from the greatest family of detectives in the world. No Nico ships. It would get in the way of the plot. I will try to keep at least somewhat accurate with the rest of the books. Everything belongs to Rick Riordan or DCU. Until, for some twist of fate, he chose William Solace to fill the position of roommate. Because of that chance of fate, Nico's life changed and while Will was just the beginning, he goes through a hell of a lot more than just a barbie blonde roomie. Three days in the infirmary. That's many how full days Nico will have with Will. They both want a connection between each other, but are too nervous. One of them might be planning to speak up. But everything about them is different. They are different from each other, and everybody else. What will happen in those three days? What will happen after those three days? What will happen... *dramatic pause* when disaster strikes? Will a disaster affect Nico and Will's relationship? What about when something that seems uncurable happens to Will? How can Nico and Will keep it together? Are they going to end up going their own separate ways? Or is somebody else going to try to control Will?
