Hello readers! I am a new FF writer on the block. Clearly, a little too late in the Arylie world coz Arylie as we know it will soon be gone. I started writing this story inspired by some brilliant Arylie FF writers on here, and want to present this to readers while we still have Aryan and Imlie in our lives! You will notice a lot of the back story is consistent with the show. How they meet and what transpires after is my own. Hope you all like it. Feedback is more than welcome!! Aryan Singh Rathore is the 29 year old newly appointed ACP for North East District of Delhi. He is one of the youngest officers on the force but has already garnered a reputation for being super calculative, sharp and athletic. His colleagues refer to him as the "Ice Man" for remaining cool even in the most dangerous situations. He lives in the Delhi Police quarters with his widowed mother Narmada Singh Rathore. Aryan's only sibling is his elder sister Arpita Shekhawat married to Arvind Shekhawat, a pharmaceutical executive working in Delhi. The Rathores migrated to Delhi after Abhinav Singh Rathore was killed in an accident in Jaipur 7 years ago. They are a well known and well to do family who still own vast properties in Rajasthan handed down to them by their forefathers but Narmada and her kids have never flaunted their wealth and prefer to live quietly. Imlie Mishra is a down on her luck 20 year old college drop out aspiring to be an investigative journalist. Her father Satyakam Mishra was arrested on suspicions of being a Naxalite leader while on a visit from Gadchiroli to Delhi for some business. As the only daughter of Satyakam and Meethi, Imlie has taken it upon herself to prove her dadda's innocence which is proving to be an uphill task since no one sympathizes with suspected Naxalites. To support herself and her mother, she freelances under the pseudonym "Vimala Mausi" in the Lifestyle section of Bhaskar and doles out advice to readers. No one other than the newspaper editor who is a friend of her dadda knows the true identity of "Vimala mausi". She and her mother stay with the Tripathis. Pankaj Tripathi and Satyakam were college friends and he is helping Imlie with trying to free Satyakam from prison.
