'Ho naksh lamhon pe aise banaye Muddaton se bhi woh mit na paaye' Moments in time felt like a hoax. Nothing would ever last for a moment. Especially not pain. Especially not loss. Especially not the plight of life ending before it even began. Nothing would be merciful enough to last for just a moment. That was how it was in life. The pricking of the soul, the brokenness of the heart, the burning agony of the spirit, nothing. Absolutely nothing lasted for just a moment. Instead, they became constants in life. They became a companion that was more like a demon than a mate. Just how was one supposed to get over those moments that lasted a lifetime. *A fanfiction. I do not own the characters of this book. I gain no profits from writing this. It is purley for entertainment purposes.* #SidNaaz

Once upon a time, men and women entered marriage with very clear policies regarding the division of labour: he would go to work and "bring home the bacon," while she would stay at home and cook, clean, and raise the children. Things aren't the same as they used to be. Modern Indian romance, intimacies, and marriages are far more complicated than assessments and reality television shows portray. In India, arranged marriages are an unique and complex process. People seek a 'soulmate' with whom they can spend the rest of their lives, but they also have specific expectations of the potential bride or groom. There is a strong narrative about finding love, compatibility, and connection, but what stands out is a real intent to replicate class identities beneath all of this. In a country that depends on a spending population, "middle class" is a necessary armour, a shared language, a value system, and, more importantly, a way of life. Life may be unjust, irritating, and disarmingly disappointing on most days. Being middle class, on the other hand, creates character in a culture obsessed with the need to be a part of the rat race. Marriage also places the onus of making sacrifices, concessions, and making the marriage work on the couple. This tale illuminates the unseen and underappreciated aspects of an Indian arranged marriage, the life of a middle-class wife and husband and their shared responsibilities as they navigate through life. Immense amount of desi tadka awaiting your way. *I don't own the illustration on the poster.*

Love is proven. It takes time. It's proven by how a person treats you over time not just in how they look at you straight away. What you have isn't love but an obsession in your head and an idea of them of how you want them to be. Whereas in reality they won't be anything like you want them to. Infact, probably quite the reverse and quite repulsive. You'll find no one is perfect and the idea of love is actually absurd. Love your children.. love your pets. Keep a practical open mind with that of a prospective partner. Think with your head not your heart and that is always a good way to stop FALLING when you should be FLOWING. Permanent Roommates is a about two very different personalities who cross paths. Unaware of what the destiny held for them. This is a story of two different people going through certain phases in their lives they really don't deserve to be in. But such is life, how we face situations we are in, is more important than what we deserve and what not. Because the waxing and waning of the moon continues to happen in cycles and so does the night ends towards a beautiful dawn and then a storm leads to new creations marking that there is always an ending to the time we live in. And a storm is a storm. We cannot weather it because we don't have control over it. All we can do is to go through it, let it pass and then figure out ways to recreate and to restart if we were lost or what we lost. We cannot avoid a storm just like that but become stronger than before.
