I have possession of elemental evil in my soul. I enjoy torturing people. I find it fun and relaxing. It's not exactly in the 'wholesome activities for girls' handbook'. Hale is an evil goddess, but an unusual one. Born a mortal girl named Josephine, abducted by her evil-deity grandfather, Halos, and encouraged to become evil by him, she becomes divine and takes her grandfather's mantle as the Evil One when he is destroyed by the rest of the pantheon. But unlike her grandfather, she remembers being innocent, being a child, being good, and no matter what she does and who she becomes, she is still well-loved by members of her family, most notably her beloved, eternally innocent adoptive brother, Kelly. Ogres reach ten feet tall, and are nearly as wide. They have tusks that can pierce a human's thigh and they're obligate carnivores. But they can be just as gentle, caring and loving as anyone else, and when a young human woman called Mantha meets a pair of male ogres, Bilk and Tralk, their friendship initially seemed destined for heartbreak. Until someone had a surprising idea. The nine short stories that comprise Half Ogre Saga bridge several generations of the same family and run alongside the some of the events as described in the book Immortality. The first tale, "Happily Married Triple", takes place when Raphael lived with Zarnia and his family in the Groves of Luna. The last tale in this collection, "Three Goddesses", takes place around the time that Halos is finally destroyed and Honess, Hurbek and Hale take their place in the pantheon of deities. That said, I do not think as the author that it's actually necessary to have read any of my earlier stories in order to enjoy this collection. The stories are followed firstly by a family tree, then a fictional account written in the style of a non-fiction leaflet which is of direct bearing to one of the tales in the collection. Content includes: polyamory (MMF), brief references to sex, some swearing, positive experiences of being transgender, inherited eyesight difficulties, references to theft and crime, and a few moments in the last short story of the collection that includes child abduction (which is quickly dealt with). Love, and lovers, friends, and family. Dragons have all of these, but as with everything scaled, winged, and tailed, rarely are things simple. This is a story of a young man called Alex, who grows into something he could never imagine. Set some two centuries after the end of the Temple of Balance story, this tale continues with telling some of the tales of the dragons met in Dragon Isle. It is set after Raphael, Zarnia and their family have lived on and later left the Isle of Young, as described in Immortality, but before Raphael, Hurbek and Josephine become deities. Josephine's kidnap is referred to briefly in the tale. Halos is still a living, powerful deity for the duration of this story, and Raphael and his children are still mortal. I would at the very least advise reading Dragon Isle before this story is embarked upon, but if readers would rather skip it, it is important to know that dragons can shapeshift into ordinary humanoid shapes and live in those shapes, they are fertile with other races, and unless taught to shift or shifting is brought on by stress or anxiety or triggered by magic, half-dragons usually appear as fully humanoid but with scales on their heads instead of hair. Dragons in the Four Realms have ordinary, complex lives, and many do ordinary jobs or serve the deities. Dragons also have ancestral memory, which is a memory of everything their parents knew, inherited at the time of conception, and they can connect with each other over long distances in their dreams. The tale contains male-male love but does not include any overly-detailed sexual content. It also contains swearing, homophobia and fantasy-fiction parallels to racism, and a young man who far prefers wearing skirts to trousers, and it begins with one of the best argument scenes I think I've ever written! The community living on the dragon's island on the Northern Reef comprises far more species of people than just dragons, and when the elf, Toriel, volunteers to help the gold dragon paladin, Sir Lylnetrath, he never could have guessed just how important the community would become to him. This is a story about a background character from my previous work, Dragon Isle (which can be found at https://www.wattpad.com/story/402934511-dragon-isle). It begins in the year 222AG with Toriel's arrival on the Isle of Young as a skilled mage of 135 years old, and refers to incidents described in Dragon Isle, The Temple of Balance, and other works to be shared in the future (yes, most of my stories are linked). I have tried very hard to maintain continuity and keep everything in the correct order but I am very aware I've probably missed something out or screwed with the timeline somewhere. If you notice any glaring continuity errors please tell me! The children's song in chapter 8 is sung to the nursery rhyme tune, Head, shoulders, knees and toes. The road was empty. Night was falling rapidly, and the bard cursed himself for not minding the time of day, and ignoring the time of year too. The wind was picking up, sending clouds skidding across the darkening This is a short, single part story, written just for Halloween. Note that this story is set in the same fantasy world as my other stories, that being the Four Realms. For more information about who the goddess Hilrea is, please see my first story, Hilrean Rite, available at: https://www.wattpad.com/story/401782512-hilrean-rite note that the cover image does not belong to me.

Love can overcome all, but every so often it needs a little bit of assistance. Kelbrix and I were lucky enough to have assistance from the goddess Hagora herself. Let me share with you how it happened. A direct spinoff story from my previous published work, Immortality, however I don't believe Immortality has to be read in order that this short tale can be enjoyed. This is a short story featuring Lok and Kelbrix, two characters, one ogre and one halfling, introduced in chapter 16 of the main Immortality story. A short note of reminder, the characters are NOT human in any way, and in this world, both halflings and ogres reach the age of consent at 14 years old. Content includes two young adults falling in love despite all the barriers in their way, and conversations and experimentation as part of that falling in love. note that the cover image does not belong to me

If you had a choice of death or immortality, which would you pick? If you were wracked with grief, if you had loved ones and a peaceful afterlife waiting for you in the Realm of the Dead, if your divine father was an abusive monster who tried to manipulate and use you at every turn, if everything you'd ever valued seemed to rise up and mock you, could you make the ultimate sacrifice, and live? This story is technically the third in the Hilrean Rite trilogy, though it is the longest of the three. It spans several centuries, with the first chapter picking up the life of Raphael, who was heard of at the end of the story 'Descendants' as a newly married man, when he is sixty-eight years old. The story overlaps the temple of balance story and the Dragon Isle story completely, and also refers to the city of Firefort as it existed at the end of the life of Glivir. If readers are not familiar with my earlier stories the Seventh God, Descendants and Temple of Balance, the identity of the main protagonist and certain sections of the tale below might not make much sense. A brief section in brackets at the beginning of the first chapter will give some appropriate background detail. This can be skipped if you have read earlier tales. The story contains flirting, sexual references, swearing, cruelty, child abduction, an evil deity, assassination and references to extreme grief. note that the cover image does not belong to me

Another story of dragons, narrated by Astrem, silver dragon and wife of Vedraaknoveth, regarding their home in the Groves of Nala and starting a family. My previous story, Dragon Isle, should be read first. This is a very short story with just the one part. note that the cover image does not belong to me

"When Chaos begins to bleed through a strange singularity, opened and invited by people who lose all connection to the world and all ability to explain what they have done, the population of the city of Hilreaport begins to experience peculiar and disturbing things. As people are overtaken by chaotic desires and chaotic actions, and as the field of chaos continues to expand, threatening the entire world and risking the complete erasure of the deities, only something truly monumental would serve to fix the damage." A story of dragons, the deities, chaos, and Hilreaport, taking place twenty four years after the burning down of Hilreaport city by Pofis as described in Dragon Isle. My stories, Hilrean Rite, the Seventh God and Dragon Isle, ideally all need to have been read before this one or parts of this tale will not make much sense. If you are a new reader, the section in brackets at the beginning will give a little background detail which might help. Content includes references to prostitution, suggestions of violence of many types including domestic and sexual, murder, references to people being mad or experiencing madness or losing their minds, references to death, assassination, funerals and cremations, cannibalism and animal sacrifice. It does not contain any gratuitous horror or descriptions of the above, and some references are only single lines stating that something happened. note that the cover image does not belong to me

"Imi, I love you." Dragons are people too, but many seem to overlook the fact. In the Four Realms, all full dragons are shifters, able to take the shapes of the other six sapient species as they desire. When Imi, a half-dragon priestess of the goddess of life, and Lyle, also known as Lylnetrath, a full-dragon paladin in the service of the goddess of justice, fall in love, a whole world of dragons is exposed, kindling love and community and simultaneously drawing ire and hatred. A story of some of the dragons of the world of the Four Realms, featuring some characters already known from my earlier published stories and many others who are new. This story has three distinct parts, that of Before, told in five chapters, an Interlude, told in its entirety, and that of After, told in 17 chapters. The story is followed by several short epilogues. Part 1, part 2 and the epilogues are all told in the 3rd person. The interlude is told in the 1st person. It can be read as an independent story but some of the character backgrounds are not included and thus a few details might be a little confusing, but this should not detract from the overall story. To find my earlier stories, please visit https://www.wattpad.com/user/Josephclive99 This story contains references to sex, marriage, birth and labour, genocide, murder, delusions and extreme mental confusion, and the (magical) manipulation of people's minds. It also contains fantasy-fiction parallels to racism and hatred based on appearance, although almost all the characters are dragons and are not human at all. The tale uses the words, mad, and madness, as setting-appropriate references to mental ill-health. Note that the cover image is not owned by me. Update: if you enjoy this story, check out the parallel tale, The Dragon Isle's Mage, https://www.wattpad.com/story/403565048-the-dragon-isle%27s-mage-part-1
