Jessica "Ike" Wordsworth can dive into books, but she isn't prepared for a monster - and a ruthless murderer killing her tourists. With nothing but a turquoise construction trailer to call her home, Ike invests her last quid and becomes partner in a tour company specialising in bespoke trips for book-lovers. When the guide hired to take on the first tour drops out at the last minute, Ike has to take over and steer her guests towards the cradle of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein". All to soon she realises there truly are monsters on the loose, one of them a ruthless killer who's targetting her tourists. To unearth the truth, Ike will have to cooperate with her moronic partner, Gary Sands, 13th Baron of Nettlehole and founder of LiteraTours. When they don't succeed in stopping the killer, she realises she'll have to take the plunge and draw on some rather unusual skills her family has been hiding from the world . . . [MOVED TO PATREON] It's not supposed to snow in the South Forest, but the weather in the second-emptiest corner of Shelha is not the only thing behaving strangely. When an ex-tyrant started acting up again, Sethral had hoped it meant the end of lazy days and monotonous, lengthening winters. She is starting to regret what she wished for. Winter the Mountainair has settled in the south, forfeiting her migratory habits and taking a renewed interest in a lifestyle she dropped years ago. Just why is a mystery, but then again, most things about her are. It takes a handful of new friends for Sethral to realize there are still creatures who know who Winter used to be. It takes Winter's reaction to their friendship to realize the tyrant would rather those creatures disappear. Now the peace of the forest may rest on finding those who can help reassemble the world's past and Winter's... before Winter finds them herself. ❖❖❖ Book I of the Stories of Shelha series, a work only split into books because nobody picks up an epic on Wattpad ;) Comments and critiques are welcome. This is just a collection of all public information, leads, possible suspects, and a Q&A via E-mail, all surrounding America's unknown child. Idk why, but I've kind of been obsessed with this case and I wasn't even born until almost forty years after he was discovered. After this book is completed, I will probably write a couple more. One including my opinions on the facts and speculations of what occurred, and the other including the possible connection to the "Dear David" story, and whether the story's real or not.
