Supergirl and its characters belong to the CW. Only the story idea is mine. The wide hallway, with its tall ceilings and open space, felt so much smaller than before. Suddenly, there wasn't enough oxygen and Kara found herself running to the nearest balcony. Bursting through the large double doors, she found herself on the balcony overlooking the Luthor gardens where she and Lena spent a lot of time together. Turning her back to the view, she slid down the railing, landing gracelessly on the floor. Curling herself into the smallest ball she could, she wrapped her arms around her knees and cried. Cried for her best friend who she promised to protect. Cried for the girl who went through something so awful, all alone. With nobody there to save her. Kara cried for the girl she loved more than anyone else on the planet. She cried for the girl that had been in the woods for who knows how long, all by herself.

During the fight to the death between Supergirl and Queen Rhea of Daxam, something happens that sends everything and everyone into another dimension. Lena knows. She's had her suspicions for a while, but the attack on L-Corp by Mercy confirmed her theories. But how does she tell Kara that she knows? And does this bring them closer together, or further apart? Set after 4x02 Agent and Children of Liberty do exist, but aren't a major plot in the story. LAMES WAS/IS NEVER A THING. UNFINISHED, ON HOLD After the 100th episode this alternative end came to my mind about Lena and Kara's relationship. What if Kara told Lena that she is Supergirl in her office due to flying out of the office's balcony? What if they were made an amazing team as a Super and a Luthor and eventually fall in love, got married so that Lena could call the fifth on trial? It's gonna be a slow burn even if they loved each other for so long before admit it.

Despite prejudice warnings about the Luthors, Supergirl and Lena find themselves falling helplessly, clumsily and quite literally. Fans are just posts away from revealing Kara's secret identity. She's receiving hundreds of followers every day, and she's terrified of being outed as Supergirl. Lena, on the other hand, has taken a new liking to social media, Instagram in particular. She posts pictures and videos every day, most of them with Kara. The public doesn't know about their relationship, but speculations are all over Lena's page. People have also noticed the sudden spike in the amount if times Supergirl has landed on the L-Corp balcony and that she never leaves.
