After the killing game ended, Shuichi woke up in the hospital. He was relieved to see that all of his friends were alive and they came to visit him, except for one - Kokichi. Shuichi asked his friends if they knew where Kokichi was, but nobody had any information. Sometime later, while adjusting to his new life, Shuichi came across a missing person poster and realized that Kokichi was the one who was missing. The police were unable to find him and Shuichi knew that Kokichi was in danger. He decided to work with Kirigiri as a detective to find Kokichi and ensure his safety. The question remained - could Shuichi solve the mystery of Kokichi's disappearance and find him alive?
