When Valentina Alvarez has no choice but to move to a boarding school, her luck seems to run out. Being placed in the last room available means having to share with the schools notorious jock and player, Jordan Evans. They claim to despise each other, but under all the pride and dignity, they desire each other just as much. Is Valentina truly unlucky, or was being introduced to Jordan a godsend? - "Yes, I am the boyfriend of your beautiful daughter." He grins down at me, one arm snaking around my waist as he pulls me close against his chest. What is going on in this dumbass's brain? Is he crazy, trying to play along and fool my own mother. He must be out of his mind. Maybe I am too for going along with this. "Isn't he wonderful mama?" I smile and reach up on my tiptoes, planting a kiss on his cheek. The hand around my waist stills for a moment, clearly surprised by my action, before it grips tighter, hugging me close. Any tighter and I'll lose blood circulation. My mother's eyes dart warily between the two of us before she sighs and slumps her shoulders in defeat. "Wow, you've really moved on from Juan, haven't you?" Relief floods from my shoulders when I realise she bought it. My mother. Actually believed that Jordan freaking Evans was my boyfriend. As if I would ever want to purposely go anywhere remotely near that creature for free. The moment my mother turned to look around my dorm room I felt the heat of him against my neck and my heart almost immediately started pumping a hundred beats a second. Damn you hormones. I needed to get laid. Soon. His warm breath fanned against my ear, his muscled arms still around my waist, and he whispered against my skin, "Either you're an amazing actor, or I think you've got a thing for me." start date- 29 July 2022

"You're atheist," I remind him. "You don't believe in god." "I believe in you," He murmurs, letting the cigarette hang from his lips. "I believe in whatever you believe." He says, letting the confession roll off his tongue as if it were that simple. As if god, the devil, heaven, hell-as if none of it really had meaning to him. "That's not how it works," I mutter as we walk down a few more alleyways-the city of Manhattan coated in a light blanket of snow. Henry Vitiello had never had anything to pray for, that is, until he met me-the only thing that had ever opened his mind up to the possibility of religion "Isn't it?" He argues, taking the cigarette by his middle and pointer finger before blowing the smoke out. "I'II dip my hands in holy water if it means I could touch you." "You'd probably burn." 𓆩♡𓆪 𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐑𝐘 𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎, the reaper. He's a prick. An asshole. A pretentious son of a bitch. He's not perfect. He's not even decent. But he's hers.
