This is the story of a blonde boy named Max, who was unfortunately sent to St. Freya Academy two years after the incident of the first male student who made a bad rep in behalf of all males, cowardly ran away during a mission and went AWOL, with no males brought the following year, with him being the latest male. Cobalt Mcallister is a Naval Tactician prodigy that was both trained and raised by the famous Navy leader Admiral McAllister. The Admiral took Cobalt in when he found him living on the streets and stealing in order to survive. Admiral McAllister was tasked with finding a suitable leader to become the new Commander of the Azur Lane Naval Base. Admiral McAllister chose Cobalt for the job given how skilled he is with Naval strategy, but the Admiral also hopes this will help improve Cobalt's lack of self worth. How will Cobalt handle being the Commander of fleets of Ship girls with a variety of personalities. Will Cobalt be able to finally find some level of self worth in himself while working with the ship girls? Will certain feelings blossom between Cobalt and some of the Ship girls? This gave them the name "The Ghost Fleet". During a sortie the Japanese and American ship girls encountered one of these vessels...the newest flagship, while engaging an abyssal fleet. Her pole flew two different flags, the modern US Flag and a black flag with 3 red claw marks that looked bloody going across it. The ship was unlike anything anyone had seen before. The battleship looked like an Montana but was longer...and heavily armed and armored. Her guns rotated towards the abyssals before firing a full broadside. The cannons roared as shells screamed through the air towards their targets. who's ship is this and where did it come from? And is it a friend or foe?
