Después de la derrota del dragón Alpha y Drago mano dura. Hipo se convirtió en el Jefe de Berk y Chimuelo en el nuevo dragón Alpha. Una noche en la isla de Berk,mientras los jinetes de la escuela de dragones vigilaban la isla. Hipo y Chimuelo notaron una silueta,era un jinete arriba de un dragón,Hipo decidió verlo mas de cerca. El jinete reacciono de manera hostil, Hipo y Chimuelo devolvieron el ataque haciendo que el jinete y el dragón cayeran. Hipo no pudo ver micho de ese jinete,solo unos enormes ojos color zafiro y un cabello color blanco como la nieve. No fue un dramático concierto, claro. El tenor de Snotlout fue suave, lejos de perfecto en entonación, y las palabras no necesariamente tenían rima o sentido. Más que la letra en sí, fue el hecho de que Snotlout podía manifestar un acto tan tierno como este, lo que dejó a Hiccup estupefacto.
