Killua Zoldyck knew these things, even if he hadn't, at first. And yet, even as he knew these things, he still managed to see his life through the bleak eyes of one who knew only death and pain. Because Killua, before learning of colors, was taught to fade into- to become- the darkness. Then Gon had arrived, bringing with him a plethora of yellows and blues and green- so much green- and Killua lost sight of the darkness. For a moment, it receded into the background. But only for a moment. Killua didn't want to lose his memories of the colors, but he did wonder if things would have been easier if he'd just gone along with the life laid out before him. The fear of losing the colors was what made them painful in the first place, but Killua couldn't help it. Once he'd seen them, he could never forget, even as their absence reverberated through his soul. The rain was grey. Soft, and light, but grey. A different shade than the one he'd grown up with, but still, grey had always brought him so much suffering. Would it stop, if he stopped struggling against it? In any case, Killua's world had disappeared, in the rain, and when he'd opened his eyes, the rain was bluer than he remembered. Pellets creating a barrage instead of droplets that melted on his cheeks. For a while, he returned to the shadows. When he finally emerged, he heard whispers of heroes and villains, of vigilantes. Of quirks. Killua knew far too much for his age, yet at the same time, far too little. But one thing he did know was that he did not want glory, he did not want fame or money. Killua wanted the colors, the fun, the laughter. And he'd do anything to get it. Now, remember one thing: Killua Zoldyck is not a villain. Gon and Killua were both sucked into a portal 2 years ago, but what they didn't know was that they've been near each other the whole time. Gon didn't know why people thought he was smart. He was dumb as hell and took notes because he kept forgetting things. He had actually created a calculator with his Nen that nobody could see for that purpose. People would ask him things like, "hey Deku, what's 7x9?" or, "hey Midoria, what's the average number of bystanders at a crime scene?" he always stayed calm and smiled though, being mad wouldn't solve anything. They just got back from internships and he managed to come up with an excuse to be stronger now! He altered his Nen a little to make green lightning thingies and it reminded him of Killua. It wasn't actual lighting or electricity, just for a little flare and to make it look like he took a step up. I have to pretend I'm getting stronger like everyone else.

[KILLUGON] Gon is a serial romantic with an addiction to online dating. Killua is the barista stuck taking the orders of every date Gon Freecss reels in. It wouldn't be an issue if Gon wasn't such a hot topic-star running back for the Yorknew University football team as a freshmen, member of the most iconic fraternity at Yorknew, and general campus heartthrob. When Gon convinces Killua to be his gym buddy, it sounds and feels like the friend zone. But who knew the #GymLife was so gay anyway? Certainly not Killua.

Killua and Gon find themselves in another universe without any idea on how to get back into their own world. They meet others, make new friends, but also new enemies. Will the both of them survive in a world that isn't their own, with superpowers very similar to nen? Oh yeah, and they're partially cats now.
