"Percy?" Annabeth said, looking at him in concern, "Are you okay?" "Yeah," he breathed, "I just-" Percy's sentence cut off as he felt all the blood drain from his face. He felt his stomach lurch menacingly, and he shrugged off Annabeth's hands from his shoulders and flashed out of the room in an instant, leaving them there wide eyed. Within a single second, Percy went from the living room to the bathroom, where he proceeded to empty his contracting stomach. "Percy?!" he heard Frank and Jason call from the living room, and he heard footsteps thumping. It didn't take them long to find him. He hadn't even had time to close the bathroom door. Within a minute, the two of them were standing in the doorway, looking at him in confusion as he violently emptied his stomach into the toilet. "What the...?" Jason said as he looked at Percy.

When Percy Jackson is betrayed and becomes Alcaeus son of Chaos, he must face many challenges, including facing a past that he has tried so hard to forget. When the time arises he must delve into the darkness in order to find the light. The light that will fix everything. But the question is, can he do it? Or will the pain of the past be too much for him to handle.
