In the age of piracy, young Thomas stows away on The Sea Wraith, determined not to be left behind by his father. Featuring a ragtag crew of sea-hardened pirates: Captain Alistair, African helmsman Kwame, American quartermaster Jack, Hispanic gunner Rosa, English navigator Fitz, and Chinese swashbuckler Lee. They sail under a royal commission to defeat a monstrous kraken terrorizing the seas. As Thomas struggles to prove his worth, the crew discovers that the kraken is actually a former royal guard who made a deal with Davy Jones, transforming into the beast to wreak havoc on royal ships.
