Pretty much every villain around knows not to mess with the Bat family, but after a villainous scheme gone wrong Bane takes advantage of Nightwing's relationship with Batman to finally take the big bad Bat down for good. His plan is thwarted, but in the end Nightwing's relationship with Batman is strained at best. Will they be able to repair their relationship? Or will they loose their chance forever? Dick Grayson has to be perfect. He tries so very hard to live up to the standards everybody puts him in. But it gets too much. As he tries to reconcile the broken relationships he made with his family and friends. He tries to get better. But every step forward always seems like a step back.(TW: this story will contain some dark thoughts, slight mentions of ed and self harm, angst. Also he is a bit younger here like the age difference between him and Jason damian tim and whoever else isn't that big.)
