This group chat is mostly about goldric and lumity, along with angst and sad but bad boy. Not all of the story will be group chatting! I may add some plot and story a lotz.

Camila, Luz, Amity, Hunter, Gus, and Willow return to the Boiling Isles to find things are a bit messy. Raine, Darius, Eberwolf, search for ways to defeat the Collector while also trying to identify the people spreading rumours that the Day of Unity was a benevolent spell gone wrong. Eda, Lilith, Steve, and Hooty try to pick up the pieces of their lives and find a way to bring King home. When Camila and the teenagers reveal that Belos is, unfortunately, not dead, the mission shifts and it's all-hands-on-deck to figure out where he's hiding, what his next move is, and if they can get to him before he decides to strike. In the process, Hunter has to grapple with who (and what) he is and his friends are determined to help him reach his goals of learning magic, attending Hexside, and coping with not only the death of his beloved Flapjack, but all the traumatic events he's endured (including, but not limited to, near death experiences, being raised in relative isolation by Belos, and watching the only parental figure he had for most of his life splatted on a wall). Through it all, they build their family, help Hunter learn he can choose his own future, and discover how lucky they are to have found one another.

Hunter thought he knew what he was--a teen prodigy, the emperor's right hand man, and a powerless witch who was given a chance--but after infiltrating Hexside and accidentally becoming friends with kids his age for the first time ever, he's not so certain what the future holds for him anymore. And matters only complicate further after seeing a page of one of Belos' books. Has his whole life been a lie?! He wasn't who--no what--he thought he was. He was a Grimwalker. And if not for the kindness and mercy of Willow Park, the Emerald Entrails, and the residents of the Owl House, everything would have spiraled out of control. OR: Hunter is a clone and can't deal with that thought alone. (Starts right after Eclipse Lake and quickly leads into recent episodes) ***NOTE: This is a rewrite of my other Hunter fanfic, "Grimly He Walks". I wanted to continue the idea, but make it more canon compliant with the recent episodes and all.

at the end of 'eclipse lake' Hunter takes the broken portal key back to belos. Belos was not thrilled at this, mostly because hunter had dissobayed a direct order. Hunter isn't a normal kid, but what does he know about normal? His normal is one of isolation, anxiety, and a considerably bad sleeping schedule. Amity Blight knows how that feels, but her normal has changed, the question is, will she be able to help Hunter's normal change too? After the events at Eclipse Lake Hunter returns to the castle to give Belos the key but when Belos realises it's cracked he immidietly calls Hunter to the throne room...This story is about what happens when Hunter finds himself in a sticky situation with The Owl House residents and tries to figure out how to trust people. *Trigger warning* There is mention of Abus3, bl00d and there may be a bit of swearing.
